Jon Allman
President & CEO
Since 1937, Warm Springs has provided rehabilitation related services to the South Texas community. Currently the Foundation provides grants to 12 community organizations which assist clients and their caregivers and will soon offer expanded services for amputee, neurological and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.
From 2015 to 2023 he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Endeavors, a national service organization of over 1,500 employees. Based in San Antonio, Texas, Endeavors provides community-based housing services, Veteran family mental health and wellness clinics, emergency disaster response, and humanitarian support for migrant families and unaccompanied children across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Endeavors has assisted vulnerable people in crisis since 1969.
Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Allman attended the University of Arkansas, where he completed the Air Force ROTC program and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, Allman earned an MA in Administration from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri and served a successful 20-year career in the Air Force, where he flew combat missions while leading the only dedicated aeromedical evacuation squadron in Europe as Director of Operations. In October 2000, Allman piloted the MacKay Trophy award-winning mission to Aden Yemen, rescuing critically wounded survivors from the terrorist attack on the USS Cole.
Allman is a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and Veterans of Foreign Wars Associations (VFW) and serves on the Hallmark University Board of Regents. Previously, he served as an elder at Oak Hills Church, Chairman of Endeavors and Urban Alliance, a San Antonio-based housing initiative for people with disabilities. He has also served as a Director of Reach Resilience an Endeavors Foundation and the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Executive Board. He and his wife Tara have two grown children and one grandchild.

Amy Roberts
Controller
Amy is an accomplished financial executive with both nonprofit and private-sector experience, most recently as interim CFO for Guide Dogs of Texas, an organization committed to supporting Texans who are visually impaired through the provision of high-quality guide dogs. She began her career in the oil and gas sector in Houston and then moved to San Antonio in 2011 and joined Tesoro Corporation. She has a strong background in audit, compliance, internal controls, budgeting and building accounting and governance infrastructure from the ground up.
Amy is originally from Southeast Texas and is the proud mom of her son who serves in law enforcement. When she’s not plugging away on spreadsheets, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and staying active in the community; especially hiking and running the trail system around San Antonio.

Kellie Washburn
Chief Marketing and Community Engagement Officer
Kellie is responsible for advancing the company’s brand, leading community engagement initiatives, and managing strategic partnerships. Mrs. Washburn works closely with the executive leadership team to enhance the organization’s reputation through proactive corporate outreach and strategic planning, engaging both internal and external audiences to further the mission of Warm Springs Foundation.
Before joining Warm Springs, Mrs. Washburn was the Corporate Protocol & Events Director at Endeavors, overseeing the planning and execution of official visits and corporate events across more than 30 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. She supported over 1,200 employees by managing enterprise-level events and community relations initiatives, increasing awareness of programs and services, and aligning each event with Endeavors’ corporate standards.
Previously, Mrs. Washburn held the role of Chief of Protocol for the 502d Air Base Wing and Joint Base San Antonio, the largest joint base in the Department of Defense. She directed operations for the Protocol Office, managing official events, visits, and ceremonies for over 600,000 personnel and 266 mission-partner organizations across one Army and two Air Force installations.
A native of San Antonio, Mrs. Washburn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising with a minor in Marketing from Texas Tech University. She is married to Chris Washburn, a retired U.S. Navy Veteran and senior consultant at Ernst & Young. Together, they have two children: Avery, who is studying Communication at UTSA, and Cole, who is pursuing a career as a tradesman. In her free time, Mrs. Washburn enjoys biking through the hill country, hiking local trails, and wine tasting with friends.
Mrs. Washburn’s extensive background in community engagement, protocol, and strategic brand management brings a wealth of expertise to her role at Warm Springs Foundation. She is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between the organization and the communities it serves.

Daniel Murata
Digital Content Specialist
Daniel Murata leads multimedia strategy and content development for Warm Springs, shaping the organization’s voice through digital storytelling and brand messaging. He works closely with the executive leadership team to strengthen Warm Springs’ communications presence, ensuring that each story advances the mission while resonating with audiences.
Before joining Warm Springs, Daniel served as a Communications Manager at USAA, supporting the Military Affairs department and the enterprise Digital Media Center. In this role, he partnered with senior leaders and key stakeholders to craft and implement high-impact communication strategies for more than 38,000 employees. Daniel also developed over 500 multimedia assets including video, photography and graphic design all while enhancing mission alignment and strengthening employees’ connection to military service.
A native of San Antonio, Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from the University of the Incarnate Word, where he was a scholarship athlete, an 11-time All-American and a UIW Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee. His background includes corporate communications, nonprofit advocacy and creative media production giving him a versatile perspective on transforming complex ideas into compelling stories across video, digital and social platforms. As a content creator, his work has generated more than 1.5 million impressions and over 500,000 views in the past year.
Daniel is married to Hannah Murata and together they have two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, hiking and playing disc golf both competitively and as a content creator.
Daniel’s extensive experience in multimedia production, strategic communications and mission-driven storytelling brings a dynamic and audience-focused approach to his role at Warm Springs. He is dedicated to elevating the organization’s voice while fostering meaningful connections through purposeful, impactful content.

Helen Eversberg
Chairman
Helen is a graduate of the University of Texas Law School, is a former US Attorney for the Western District of Texas, has served as president and chairman of the Charity Ball Association, president of the CBA Legacy Foundation, and is currently the President of the Battle of Flowers Foundation, as well as working with various nonprofit organizations.

Bart Simpson
Vice Chair
As the Executive Director of the Alamo Colleges Foundation, Barton Simpson is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections that strengthen donor relations and expand educational opportunities for students. With a strong background in event management and skill development, Barton has led the Foundation’s outreach initiatives to new heights, enhancing its impact across the community.
Guided by the Alamo Colleges District’s moonshot goal to partner to end poverty through education and training, Barton ensures the Foundation’s growth and sustainability. Over the past two years, his leadership has focused on championing community engagement and leveraging collective support to create transformative opportunities for students.

Malcolm Hartman
Secretary
Malcolm Hartman is an accomplished attorney with 50 years of experience specializing in commercial real estate, general practice, and real estate law. A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law (JD, 1974), he is the founding attorney at The Hartman Firm and serves as General Counsel to Jim’s Restaurants.
In addition to his legal career, Malcolm contributes his expertise to community development as the Board Secretary for the Warm Springs Foundation, where he is dedicated to advancing its mission of service and care. His extensive professional and community engagement reflects a lifelong commitment to excellence and leadership.

Rene Dominguez
Director
Rene Dominguez is Chief Executive Officer of VelocityTX, a leading nonprofit economic development organization established in 1984, and its subsidiaries Alamo Angels and TRTF Community House. VelocityTX champions the long-term community goal of supporting commercialization and entrepreneurial development, strengthening and supporting our military missions, and serving as a driver of the life sciences innovation ecosystem in San Antonio.
Prior to joining VelocityTX, Dominguez was appointed Director of the International and Economic Development Department for the City of San Antonio. For a decade, Dominguez was responsible for the implementation of the City of Antonio’s economic development strategy including the Industry Development, Small Business, Workforce, and International Development Divisions. Dominguez came to the City from the Community Development Loan Fund (CDLF), a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), where he was President and CEO promoting economic development and small business growth. Before that, he worked at St. Mary’s University in various positions, ending his tenure as Executive Director of Development.

Carl Fellbaum
Director
With a background in public accounting, audit, and tax, Carl Fellbaum joined Stan Studer as a partner in 1997, of Touchstone Communities and in 2017 was named chief executive officer. He has also served as president, chief financial officer, and chief operating officer.
In the service of the Lord, Carl uses his financial insight and background to lead Touchstone Communities in providing the best possible environment and care for the families we serve. He is also dedicated to building a company that not only is a great place to work but also supports our team members and their families. Since 2001, Carl has been involved with the Texas State Veterans Home program.
Carl is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and the Ecumenical Center and he is a Stephen Minister. He has served on the boards of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Alamo Heights School Foundation, and Alamo Heights United Methodist Church. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Tom Kingman
Director
Thomas A. Kingman, M.D. is a retired neurosurgeon. He is a graduate of S.M.U. and UT-Southwestern Medical School. He completed his residency in Dallas in 1986 and started his practice in San Antonio that same year. He served as a member of the Board at the Good Samaritan Center and was a trustee of the Alamo Heights School District for eight years. He is a member of Grace Northridge Church. Tom and his wife, Leslie, have four grown children and twelve grandchildren. He now enjoys time in the country, chainsawing, hiking, filling feeders, and hunting.

Andrew McAllister
Director
Andrew McAllister was born and raised in Alamo Heights, TX and graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 2004.
In 2008, after attending Trinity University and the University of Texas at Austin, Andrew founded the Believe It Foundation, whose mission is to enrich the lives of physically challenged children through the inclusion of those children in the lives and experiences of those who do not face the same limitations. This mission lies close to his heart as he himself has limited mobility and uses a wheelchair to navigate his daily activities.
Serving as Director and Chairman of the Board of the Believe It Foundation, Andrew seeks to provide experiences, programs, and support for children with physical challenges – all of which made the difference for him on his journey. Attending a major sporting event, taking a family trip, participating in Scouting, or going to summer camp can all be life-changing experiences for any child, especially if physically challenged. “I know because I enjoyed these experiences and many more,” Andrew has shared. “In every case, it was due to someone or some organization willing to be inclusive.”
In 2018, the Foundation launched an inclusive bike program, Believe It Bikes. Since then, the Believe It Foundation has provided adaptive bikes to more than 10 school districts serving over 2,000 students, and developed a robust curriculum and professional development sequence for teachers to help schools create authentic inclusion in the classroom setting.
Among his achievements, Andrew received the Rising Star Award while attending Alamo Heights Junior School. He received the Jefferson Award for Public Service in 2011, and was the Morgan’s Wonderland Walk of Fame honoree in 2015. Andrew also serves on the board of the Warm Springs Foundation (2018 – present)and The Texas Cavalier Charitable Foundation Board 2024-2025, and was the 2020 recipient of Chris Madrid Beacon of Love Award for his tireless work through his foundation.
